Hams and Salamis

Just like with cheese makers, we ensure that the meat from the ham and salami producers you can find with us comes from their own farms, where animals grow slowly, naturally without antibiotics or hormones, are fed only natural non-GMO feed and are slaughtered directly at the place of breeding without stressful transports. Some of our suppliers breed valued original breeds such as Cinta Senese, Sambucano, Maremmana, Fassona or Podolica, mostly semi-wild in the open nature, where they graze on herbs, beech nuts, and acorns, which give the meat a more distinct flavor, more nutrients, and a darker color. Manufacturers who do not have their own herds only buy meat from verified Italian farms that meet the strictest conditions.
