The Nonino family elevated grappa from a drink that farmers in northern Italy used to warm themselves on cold days to the queen of spirits. They were also the first to create a distillate from grape must and the first cru varietal grappa. In 2019, the Nonino family made an indelible mark in history when Wine Enthusiast awarded their distillery the title of "best distillery in the world." Today, the Nonino family has successfully begun cooperating with the world's best bartenders to mix their spirits into innovative cocktails. And what happened?
