Monte Jugo

The Ciambella family from the Monte Jugo organic farm raises 500 Saanen goats, from whose milk they produce exquisite, variously matured cheeses. The herds graze in the wild and are supplemented with grain that the family organically grows in volcanic soil full of thermal springs on the Palanzana plateau. Therefore, this grain has a unique aroma and taste, and it does not just end up in the goats' stomachs, but it is also milled into excellent nutritious flour.
