Varvaglione

The third generation of the Varvaglione family grows primarily local varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, and Malvasia Nera on their vineyards, which, thanks to their sensitive approach, have been elevated from underrated varieties to the stars of the south. Their vineyards are located near the town of Leporano, where wine was grown as early as the 18th century for Pope Benedict XIII.
