The Mazzei family has been mentioned in Tuscan chronicles since the 15th century, so we can talk about tradition here. Francesco and his brother Filippo do not want to stop at the traditional concept of Tuscan wines. In addition to the wonderful Siepi, where they combine Sangiovese with Merlot, they also invest in new areas such as Maremma Toscana and Sicily. New projects by the emerging young generation like "Ipsus" are beginning to take the shape of something exceptional, which in a few years could be a new style of Chianti Classico.
