Cornarea
The hill on which the imposing Cornarea villa stands, surrounded by vineyards, is magical. In addition to the beautiful view of the surroundings, it acts like a white sugar hill. The almost white soil is full of magnesium, which gives the wine a special, almost salty taste. The high minerality is typical for the Arneis variety, in which the Bovone family is really great and known throughout the Roero area. Even the red wines Barbera and Nebbiolo are characterized by lightness and high minerality. It is incredible to taste the Arneis variety also in a mature form, 10 years or more give it a dignified elegance and complexity.
