The Pedrazzoli's, like most of our suppliers, are not just producers, they are also breeders who are in charge of the entire production process from A to Z. In Lombardy, they breed their own pigs and give them the best possible living conditions, including extensive outdoor runs and a high quality natural diet free of chemicals and GMOs. The animals are allowed to grow slowly and completely naturally without hormones, stimulants or antibiotics (compared to the intensive farms of the Pedrazzoli family, the pigs grow three times slower!). The animals are not stressed by long journeys to the slaughterhouse, but are slaughtered gently on site, where their meat is also processed and packaged immediately. The result is quality products that do not need any artificial enhancement, have a distinctive taste and contain plenty of nutrients, and are also environmentally, animal and human friendly.
